We understand that this is inconvenient for many of our guests, we apologize but must do our part to ensure the well-being of our extended community.

A message to our guests

As a family owned and opportunity business, we see our guests and staff as an extension of our Cutty Sark family and have worked hard to safely provide a relaxing vacation and peace of mind amid COVID-19. While there are many subtle changes to our health & sanitation practices we want to detail the changes we’ve made:

  1. Guests, vendors and our team are required to wear a mask in the areas where we can not exercise safe social distancing of 6+ feet. We ask that our guests respect this policy and bring their own masks.
  2. We have retained 100% of our staff and put our people first and are equipping them with PPE. Our team's health will be monitored daily. If anyone is showing signs of being sick, they will be sent home.
  3. Sanitizing products will be made available throughout the property.
  4. Housekeeping will be doing extra cleaning and sanitizing using industry-leading products to disinfect but will not be entering your room during your stay unless there is an emergency situation or upon explicit request.
  5. We’re unable to provide our ordinary food and beverage offerings to adhere to the new guidelines set to stay as contactless as possible.
  6. If health circumstances create a situation where we need to make more changes or modify occupancy, we will advise you with as much notice as possible so you may make alternate arrangements.
  7. We are carefully monitoring COVID-19 related provisions from Maine’s government and from other entities. Please read here for policy and approach to COVID-19 in Maine
